- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 34 cup raspberry preserves
Directions

1Heat oven to 350 degrees.

2Combine all crumb-mixture ingredients in a large bowl.

3Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

4Reserve 2 cups crumb mixture; set aside.

5Press remaining crumb mixture into a greased 8-inch square baking pan.

6Spread preserves to within 1/2 inch of edge.

7Crumble reserved mixture over preserves.

8Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until lightly browned.
