- 1 1/2 c. raw shelled peanuts
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 Tbsp. baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix sugar, water and syrup in a 2-quart saucepan and bring to a boil.

2Cook on high heat until mixture becomes thick (very tight bubbles).

3Add peanuts and continue to cook until mixture begins to turn tan in color.

4Peanuts may pop.

5Stir slowly constantly.

6Add margarine; stir until mixed.

7Add soda and stir until mixture foams to top of pan.

8Add vanilla; stir until mixed. Pour onto greased pizza pan.

9Allow to cool before removing from pan.

10Use wooden spoon for stirring.
