Ingredients
- 3 slices beef
- 1 each onions sliced
- 3 each celery stalks diced
- 2 each bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon flour, all-purpose
- 2 cups water hot
- 2 cups red beans cooked
- 2 slices lemon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 x black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
Directions

1Cook beef, onion and celery in a sauce pan until onion is tender.

2Add bay leaves and flour and stir until smooth.

3Add hot water, red beans, lemon, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce and cook for about 20 min.

4Press through coarse sieve and place back in saucepan.

5Heat thoroughly and serve.

6Consistency may be adjusted by adding desired amount of either chicken stock (kosher broth) or water.
