- 2 1/2 cups of self rising flour
- 1 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups of sugar
- 1 cup of buttermilk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. cocoa powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 2 eggs
- 1 bottle McCormick's Red food color
- 1 bottle of water (use food coloring bottle)
Directions

1Pour all ingredients into a large bowl. Mix until smooth and creamy (10 minutes). Spray three 9 inch round cake pans with cooking spray. Divide cake mix between all three pans. Bake at 325 for approximately 15-20 minutes or until done.
