  • 12 cup Crisco
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 12 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons instant powdered chocolate milk mix
  • 3 tablespoons red food coloring
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 14 cups sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 12 cup butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 6 tablespoons Crisco
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 23 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

    Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

    Cream Crisco and sugar together.

    Add eggs, chocolate milk mix and food coloring and mix well.

    Add buttermilk, flour, salt and vanilla; mix well.

    To a small bowl add vinegar and baking soda.

    FOLD this into the cake mixture.

    Pour into a greased and flour pan.

    Depending on the size of your pan bake for about 30 minutes or until done.

    To prepare icing: Cream butter, sugar and Crisco.

    Add one at a time flour, milk and vanilla.

    Beat for 12 minutes or until fluffy.
