- 3 sticks butter or margarine
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 1/2 + 6 Tbsp. buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 12 oz. peanut butter
- 1 tsp. oil
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 lb. powdered sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Mix 2 sticks butter with 1/2 cup cocoa and 1 cup water in saucepan; melt together over low heat.

3Add 1/2 cup buttermilk; add 2 eggs to saucepan and mix.

4Mix in a bowl the flour, sugar, soda and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

5Add to saucepan. Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch cake pan or muffin cups.

6Pour in saucepan mixture.

7Bake for 25 minutes.

8Let cake cool.

9Mix peanut butter and spread on cool cake.

10Mix 1 teaspoon vanilla with powdered sugar and dust top of cake.
