  • 1/4 c. shortening or oil
  • 1/2 can tomatoes
  • 1/4 c. Pace picante sauce
  • salt to taste

    Add beans, one cup at a time, mashing after each addition.

    Add tomatoes and mash them, then the picante sauce.
