  • 20 cukes, sliced thin
  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 2 ice cube trays ice
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 3 onions, sliced thin

Directions

    Soak cukes in salt and ice for 2 hours.

    Drain well.

    Heat the remaining ingredients (except onions) for 5 minutes, then cool. Add onions and mix together.

    Put into refrigerator in quart or gallon jars or Tupperware.
