Ingredients

  • 1 qt. cider vinegar
  • 4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. canning salt
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. each: mustard seed, celery seed and turmeric
  • 3 small onions, sliced
  • green pepper (if desired)
  • 1 doz. or so sliced cucumbers (to fill 1 gal. glass jar)

Directions

    Mix all ingredients and put into jar.

    Stir well and slice enough cucumbers to fill jar.
  3. 3
    Will be good to eat in one week. You can keep adding pickles as these are used.

    Stir once in the middle of the week.

    These are really good!
