- 4 c. sugar
- 4 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 1 1/4 tsp. celery seed
- 1 1/4 tsp. mustard seed
- 3 onions, sliced
- 4 pt. cucumbers, sliced
Directions

1Mix together a cold syrup; do not heat.

2Sterilize 4 pint jars.

3Put sliced onions evenly into jars and enough cucumbers to fill jars.

4Stir syrup well; pour into jars to cover onions and cucumbers.

5Screw on lids and seal.

6Refrigerate five days before using.

7Will keep in refrigerator 9 months to 1 year.
