- 4 c. sugar
- 4 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. pickling salt
- 1 1/3 tsp. turmeric seed
- 1 1/3 tsp. celery seed
- 1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 gal. cucumbers (16 c.), sliced
- 4 large onions, sliced thin
Directions

1Mix first 6 ingredients.

2Pour mixture over sliced cucumbers and onions.

3Put in closed containers (do not seal).

4Refrigerate. Will keep 1 year.

5Ready to eat in 1 week.

6Stir once a day for 1 week.
