- 2 pkg. yeast
- 2 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 eggs beaten
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. softened shortening
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 8 to 8 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Put yeast in bowl with warm water, and stir until dissolved. Add shortening, sugar, eggs,

26 c. of the flour and salt.

3Stir and beat until smooth, about 1 minute. Add the

4remaining 2 - 2 1/2 c. flour, and kneed. This makes a soft dough.

5Cover tightly and place in refrigerator overnight, or up to 2 - 3 days.

6Punch down and pinch off, however much is needed.

7Make walnut size balls, and place onto greased cookie sheet.

8Let double in size. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 - 15 minutes.

9Makes 3 dozen rolls.
