Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. granular yeast
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 c. warm milk
- 2/3 c. melted shortening
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 10 to 11 c. flour
Directions

1Soften yeast in sugar and water mixture.

2Add warm milk, shortening, sugar and salt.

3Add eggs.

4Beat well.

5Add flour to make soft dough. Let stand 10 minutes.

6Knead on lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic.

7Place in greased bowl.

8Grease top and cover.

9Let rise double in bulk.

10Cut into rolls.

11Let rise until when finger is punched in dough it leaves an imprint. Bake rolls at 400° for 20 minutes.
