- 2 c. water
- 2/3 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 6 c. all-purpose flour, divided
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Combine water, butter and sugar in a saucepan; heat until butter melts, stirring occasionally.

2Cool to 120° to 130°. Combine 2 cups flour, salt and yeast in a large mixing bowl; stir well.

3Gradually add liquid mixture to flour mixture, beating well at high speed of an electric mixer.

4Add eggs and beat an additional 2 minutes at medium speed.

5Gradually stir in remaining flour, making a soft dough.

6Cover and refrigerate up to 3 days; punch dough down and cover if it begins rising out of bowl.
