Ingredients

  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 2 yeast cakes
  • 1 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 c. flour

    Cream together Crisco and sugar.

    Add boiling water and stir to mix.

    Let stand.

    Soak yeast cakes in lukewarm water, then add to sugar mixture.

    Stir in salt, eggs and flour until well mixed.

    Mix thoroughly until forms a ball and cleans the dish. Let set in refrigerator overnight.

    Take out about 1 1/2 hours before ready to serve.

    Make up rolls and put in greased muffin pans and let rise in warm place for 1 hour.

    Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until brown.
