Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 egg
  • 3 3/4 c. flour

Directions

    Heat margarine and milk; pour over sugar and salt and stir well.

    Dissolve yeast in water.

    Beat egg slightly and add to milk mixture.

    Combine the two mixtures and stir in flour.

    With lightly greased hands, mold dough into a ball.

    Place in bowl rubbed with oil and store in refrigerator.

    About 3 1/2 hours before baking, knead and make into rolls.

    Let rise until double in bulk, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

    Bake in a moderate oven (375°) for 12 to 15 minutes.
