- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. Crisco
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 6 1/3 c. plain flour (more or less)
Directions

1Combine boiling water, Crisco, sugar and salt.

2Blend and cool; add eggs.

3Sprinkle yeast into the 1 cup warm water and stir until dissolved.

4Combine with egg mixture.

5Blend in flour. Cover and refrigerate in a large, greased bowl.

6Cover with wet cloth.

7Take out as needed and shape into rolls.

8Allow to rise at room temperature.

9Dough will keep for about a week.

10Bake at 350° for about 20 minutes.
