- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. Crisco (butter)
- 2 c. water (boiling)
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 5 to 6 c. flour
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Add sugar, salt and Crisco to boiling water (1 1/2 cups). Cool 1/2 cup water until lukewarm.

2Add yeast.

3Add 1 teaspoon sugar to yeast mixture.

4Stir when dissolved.

5Add to well beaten eggs, then mix the two parts together.

6Add flour, one cup at a time.

7Beat well.

8Let rise 2 hours or overnight in refrigerator. Punch down and let rise again.

9Shape rolls.

10Place in baking pan. Let rise.

11Bake 15 to 20 minutes in a 450° oven.
