- 1 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 scant Tbsp. salt
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 2 cakes or envelopes yeast
- 2 eggs
- 6 1/2 c. plain flour
Directions

1Soften yeast in lukewarm water.

2Cream shortening, sugar and salt.

3Add boiling water and cool to lukewarm.

4Add well beaten eggs, yeast mixture and flour; mix well.

5Place in refrigerator at least 2 hours (overnight is best).

6Make into rolls.

7Let rise 2 hours in warm place.

8Bake for 15 minutes at 425°.
