  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 6 c. unsifted flour

Directions

    Mix sugar, shortening and boiling water.

    Cook to lukewarm. Mix cold water and yeast.

    Add to first mixture.

    Beat in eggs; add flour and salt.

    Place dough in bowl, cover and place in refrigerator.

    Make out rolls as you need them 2 to 2 1/2 hours before baking at 375° to 400° until done.
