- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. Crisco
- 2 c. fresh buttermilk
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients.

2Cut in Crisco.

3Dissolve yeast in water.

4Make hole in flour; add yeast, then buttermilk.

5Mix well. Cover bowl and refrigerate overnight.

6Roll; cut and let rise about 2 hours.

7Dough will keep for a week.
