- 3 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 4 1/2 c. chopped rhubarb
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. oatmeal
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Press 3/4 of crumb mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Pour rhubarb mixture over crumbs.

2Sprinkle remaining crumbs over rhubarb.

3Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

4Cool and cut into bars.
