- 1 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. milk
- 2 c. 1 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. raw rhubarb
Directions

1Blend shortening, sugar, salt and egg.

2Add baking soda and milk to mixture.

3Stir in flour and rhubarb (cut in small pieces). Bake 45 minutes at 350° in 9 x 13 pan.
