  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. sour cream or buttermilk
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. diced rhubarb
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. cinnamon

Directions

    Blend the first 3 ingredients.

    Add the sour milk or buttermilk, flour, soda, salt, vanilla and rhubarb.
