- 1 recipe pastry for double crust
- 3/4 lb. (3 c.) rhubarb, diced
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Place rhubarb in pie shell.

2Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.

3Add eggs and mix well.

4Add syrup and butter.

5Pur over rhubarb.

6Place pastry on top.

7Bake at 450° for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350° for 30 minutes or longer.
