  • 3 c. rhubarb, cut into 1-inch slices
  • 1 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. grated orange rind (optional)
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • dash of salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • pastry for 2 crust pie

Directions

    Combine rhubarb, sugar, flour and salt with a small amount of water.

    Heat the mixture.

    Line pie plate with pastry and fill with rhubarb mixture; dot with butter and cover with top crust. Bake at 375° for 50 to 60 minutes.
