Rhubarb Punch

Ingredients

  • 1 qt. fresh rhubarb
  • 2 qt. water
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2 c. water
  • juice of 6 lemons
  • 1 c. pineapple juice
  • 1 qt. ginger ale

Directions

    Cut into pieces fresh rhubarb and cook in 2-quarts of water until soft.

    Strain through cloth bag.

    Dissolve sugar in 2 cups of water. Boil 10 minutes.

    Cool and add lemon juice and pineapple juice.

    Mix rhubarb mixture.

    Chill.

    Add ginger ale when ready to serve.

    Makes 1 gallon.

    Will serve 24 people.
