  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 10 to 12 stalks rhubarb
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. half and half
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 5 egg whites
  • 3/4 c. sugar

Directions

    Mix together first 3 ingredients.

    Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350°.

    Cut rhubarb into small pieces and scatter over crust.

    Mix egg yolks, sugar, half and half, flour, salt and vanilla and pour over rhubarb.

    Bake 50 minutes at 350°.
