Rice Casserole

  • 2 c. long grain rice
  • 6 c. water
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 3 bouillon cubes
  • 1 lb. hamburg or turkey
  • garlic powder (optional)

Directions

    In Dutch oven, put 2 cups rice with water, mushroom soup and bouillon cubes and let come to a boil.

    Lower heat and let simmer for 15 minutes.

    While doing the above, have hamburg sauteing in pan until lightly brown.

    Add it to the rice mixture when done. You may add peas, green beans or chopped spinach while cooking rice or have as a side dish.
