Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 slices bacon
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1/2 can water
  • 1 tsp. rice
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped (optional)
  • 2 c. rice

Directions

    Cook rice; cook bacon until crisp and break into crumbs.

    Cook the onion, celery and green pepper in the bacon fat until celery is tender; drain.

    Mix all the ingredients in a casserole dish. Bake at 300° for 1 hour.
