- 1 c. rice
- 2 1/2 c. tomato juice
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. green peppers, chopped
- 1 lb. raw ground meat
- 1/4 - 1/2 c. water
- 4 slices bacon
- celery (opt.)
Directions

1Rinse and drain rice, sprinkle with salt and pepper.

2Pour 1 c. tomato juice over rice, then sprinkle with the onion, pepper, and celery (if wanted).

3Then the meat, water, and 1 1/2 c. tomato juice.

4Cut the bacon in 1/2 and put on top.

5Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.

6Uncover and bake for another 1/2 hour or until bacon is crisp.
