- 3 c. sour cream
- 1 can (4 oz.) peeled green chiles, seeded and chopped
- 4 1/2 c. cooked rice
- 1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, cut into thin slices
- 3/4 c. (3 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Heat oven to 300°.

2Mix sour cream and chopped chiles.

3Layer 1 1/2 cups rice, 1 1/2 cups sour cream mixture and half of cheese slices in buttered 3-quart casserole.

4Repeat layers with remaining rice, sour cream and cheese slices.

5Bake uncovered 45 minutes or until hot.

6Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.

7Return to oven 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
