  • 1/2 c. rice (not instant)
  • 3 c. water
  • 1 (3 oz.) box Jello
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (13 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 small container Cool Whip

Directions

    Put 1/2 c. rice (not instant) into 3 cups water.

    Boil slowly until rice is done.

    Add Jello, any flavor (I like orange) right in the rice hot water and all, mix well.

    Add sugar, crushed pineapple, and salt.

    Put in refrigerator in bowl and let set until just about hardened, then stir in Cool Whip.
