Rice Pilaf

Ingredients

  • 1 c. rice
  • 2 c. broth
  • 1/2 c. onions, diced
  • 1/4 c. oleo
  • 1 small bay leaf
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Saute onions in oleo; add rice and saute for a few more minutes.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Bring to boil.

    Cover and place in 400° oven for 20 minutes (do not stir).

    Remove from oven; take out bay leaf.

    Additional oleo may be added if needed.
