- 1/2 lb. butter (real butter)
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 can mushrooms and juice
- 3 cans beef consomme
- 2 c. water
- 2 c. rice (uncooked; do not use Minute rice)
Directions

1Melt butter; add onion, oregano, mushrooms, liquids, then rice.

2Simmer 20 minutes.

3Bake in covered dish 1 hour at 350°.
