- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 c. long grain rice
- 3 c. boiling chicken stock
- 1 bay leaf
- pinch of ground white pepper
Directions

1Melt butter in heavy saucepan.

2Add rice. Add hot broth and boil, covered, 25 minutes on low heat. Remove bay leaf and press into 1 1/2-quart ring mold.

3Keep warm and unmold to serve.
