  • 2 c. water
  • 2/3 c. rice
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • raisins (optional)

Directions

    Cook water and rice until done.

    Drain.

    Add milk and butter; cook 1 hour at 350°.

    (Add raisins.)

    Mix eggs, sugar and vanilla.

    Stir into rice; cook 15 more minutes.

    Let cool.
