- 1 qt. milk
- 1/3 c. rice (Carolina)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- dash of salt
- 1 egg
- cinnamon
Directions

1Bring milk, salt and rice to a boil, stirring frequently. Lower gas to simmer.

2Cover and cook 1 hour and 15 minutes. After 1 hour and 10 minutes, slowly pour in sugar (stirring, not to stick to pot), egg at room temperature and, finally, the vanilla.

3Bring to boil.

4Remove from heat; sprinkle with cinnamon.

5Chill.
