- 3/4 c. medium grain rice
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Cook rice and water on stove (at simmer setting) until water is absorbed.

2Combine all other ingredients with rice and put in buttered casserole.

3Bake in 325° oven for 1 hour.

4Mix or stir casserole after first 30 minutes.
