Rice Pudding

  • 2-1/2 cups Whole Milk
  • 1/3 cups Rice (long Or Short Grain)
  • 1/8 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cups Sugar
  • 1/4 cups Raisins
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey

Directions

    Start by combing milk, rice and salt in a saucepan. Bring it to a boil, then lower the heat and let simmer for about 25 minutes or until rice is tender, stirring occasionally.

    When the rice is tender, remove from heat and add vanilla extract, cinnamon and sugar. Return to heat and cook until it thickened, about 5 - 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Grab the raisins and add them to the saucepan. Stir well. Scoop pudding into serving bowls.Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 1 hour.

    When ready to serve, take it out from the fridge and add a tablespoon of honey to each bowl.
