- 3 c. boiling water
- 3/4 c. rice (not Minute)
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 c. milk, scalded
- 3 beaten eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Simmer boiling water, rice, butter and salt for 15 minutes. Add scalded milk to rice mixture and simmer 15 more minutes.

2Add beaten eggs, sugar and vanilla.

3Cook for 3 to 4 more minutes. Pour into serving bowl.

4Cinnamon may be sprinkled on top.
