- 1 1/2 c. cooked rice
- 2 c. milk, divided
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2/3 c. raisins (optional)
- 1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- nutmeg or cinnamon to taste
Directions

1Combine the rice, 1 1/2 cups milk, sugar and salt.

2Cook on medium heat or microwave on High until thick and creamy, stirring often (15 to 20 minutes).

3Blend 1/2 cup milk with beaten egg. Stir into rice.

4Cook 2 minutes.

5Add butter, vanilla and raisins. Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg.
