  • 1 lb. bulk sausage
  • 1 box Lipton dry chicken noodle soup (2 pkg.)
  • 4 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. rice
  • 1 large bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds

    Brown sausage, drain.

    Add soup, water and rice.

    Cook 7 minutes.

    Add bell pepper, onions, celery and almonds.

    Mix well. Put in 9 x 15-inch casserole.

    Bake, covered, 30 minutes at 350°. Uncover and bake 20 to 30 more minutes until brown.
