- 3 c. beef stock or chicken broth
- 1 1/2 c. long grain white rice
- 1 stick butter
- 1/3 c. pine nuts or pecans
- 1/3 c. golden raisins
Directions

1Bring stock to a boil.

2Add rice and 2 tablespoons of butter. Cover and simmer 20 minutes until liquid is absorbed.

3Heat remaining butter until slightly bubbly.

4Add nuts and saute only until lightly browned.

5Pour nuts and butter over rice.

6Add raisins and fluff mixture with a fork.

7Cover and let stand 5 minutes.

8Makes 6 servings.
