Rich Apple Cake Macrobiotic

- 100 Whole wheat flour (super fine)
- 60 grams Almond flour
- 40 grams Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 200 grams Apple
- 2 tbsp Maple syrup
- 2 tbsp Natural vegetable oil
- 1 Your choice of dried nuts or fruits
Directions

1Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl, and mix evenly.

2Rinse the apples well, cut into approximate sizes with the skin intact, and finely mince in a food processor while incorporating any bits that stick to the sides.

3Add the apples from Step 2 to the dry ingredients from Step 1 along with the maple syrup and oil, and mix with a cutting motion.

4Add in dried fruit to taste.

5Roughly spread out the dough in the pan, and lightly even it out so as to not let too much air out.

6Bake in an oven preheated to 170C for 50 minutes, remove it from the pan, and let cool.

7I added roughly chopped cranberries this time.

8It's delicious freshly baked.

9It will harden when it cools, so warm it up before serving.
