Ingredients
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 egg
- 3 c. flour
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Combine 1/2 cup scalded milk, shortening, sugar and salt. Cool to lukewarm with cold water.

2Add yeast and mix well.

3Blend in egg.

4Add flour until dough is blended and soft.

5Place in greased bowl and cover.

6Store in refrigerator at least 2 hours or until needed.

7Shape into 18 rolls.

8Let rise in a warm place about 1 1/2 hours.

9Bake at 425° for 20 minutes.
