- 5 to 5 1/2 c. flour
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. raisins
Directions

1In a large mixer bowl combine 2 1/2 cups flour, yeast, sugar and salt; mix well.

2In a saucepan heat milk, water and butter until warm (120° to 130°).

3Add to flour mixture, add eggs.

4Blend on low until moistened.

5Beat for 3 minutes at medium speed.

6By hand, stir in raisins and enough of the remaining flour to make a firm dough.

7Knead on floured surface for 5 to 8 minutes.

8Place in a greased bowl and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.

9Punch down dough and divide into 2 parts.
