- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 medium onion, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup Arborio rice, uncooked
- 1/3 cup dry white wine (optional)
- 2 cups chicken broth, heated
- 1/3 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Directions

1Melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat.

2Add onion and garlic; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until crisp-tender, stirring frequently.

3Stir in rice; cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

4Add wine; cook and stir until absorbed.

5Stir in 1/2 cup of the hot broth.

6Reduce heat to medium-low; cook until most of the broth is absorbed, stirring constantly.

7Repeat process until all of the broth has been added.

8(Rice should be tender, but firm.

9If necessary, add a small amount of additional broth or water and continue to cook until rice is done.)

10Add cheese; stir until blended.

11Sprinkle with parsley.
