  • 3 1/2 c. milk
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. lard or oleo
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. instant potatoes
  • 2 to 3 c. flour
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 10 to 11 c. flour

Directions

    Cook milk, sugar, lard or oleo, salt and instant potatoes until all mixed together.

    Let set until lukewarm, then add 2 to 3 cups of flour and yeast.

    Start sifting 10 to 11 cups of flour. Knead.

    Let set until doubled in size, then poke it down.

    Let raise again.

    Put in bread pans and then let raise again.

    Put in oven and bake until golden brown.
