Roast Turkey

Ingredients
- 15 lb. turkey, thawed
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 c. butter (room temperature)
- 1/2 tsp. Mrs. Dash
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Remove giblet and neck (may be inside or at the top above the breast).

3Remove excess fat.

4Put salt, pepper and Mrs. Dash all over the body of the turkey.

5Loosen skin on the breast with fingers. With fingers, spread 7 tablespoons of butter under the skin on breast. Stuff cavity, if desired.

6Tie legs together. Rub 1 tablespoon on breast. Sprinkle with seasonings.

7Put in baking bag and add soup. Roast 3 1/2 hours. Check with meat thermometer to see if done.

8Must register 170°. Push in thickest part of thigh, not touching the meat. Cool and serve.
